Abstract

Mobbing is an important variable which has impact on the numerous psychological variables. As a concept Mobbing is defined as emotional assaults subjected to an employee working in an organization, and implemented for different reasons, by the superior(s)/colleague(s) or subordinate(s). After all, in the studies of mobbing, it is seen that although the contents are the same, different concepts are used as interchangeable. For example the terms ‘bullying/victimization, emotional abuse, maltreatment/mistreatment, harassment and abuse’ are some of the concepts often used to define mobbing. This study was conducted with fourteen teachers studying in the province of Sakarya in Turkey. The research is formed in qualitative patterns. While writing the recorded data descriptive record system is based. Content analysis approach is frequently used in the analyze of qualitative analysis of interview data and open-ended questions. In our research categorical analyze of the content analyze types is used. First, the message is divided into units and then these units make a group which is previously identified. In that case, codes takes function as creating a full and meaningful group of independent parts. Creating categories and their subcategories allows researcher to re-examine the data.
